The Partners Private investment committee brings extensive experience and expertise across public and private investment markets, business analysis, financial analysis, legality and deal negotiation. The committee implement a stringent and robust due diligence process to source, screen and select high quality property, equity and debt investments to present to our clients.

Nick Stretch

Committee Chair

Provides legal and deal making expertise

Nick is the Managing Partner of Partners Legal Solutions and an advisor to the board of Partners Wealth Group.

Nick has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and has advised in both public and private contexts. Nick also has particular expertise in insolvencies and business reconstructions across a broad range of sectors, including constructions, financial institutions, mining and technology.

Nick also has extensive experience in working with high-net-worth family groups and is adept at managing liquidity events and putting in place structures and processes to grow (and, if necessary, defend) family wealth.

Nick has been in legal practice for over 35 years, but he regards his experience of working for a small merchant bank during the global financial crisis as being among the most valuable in his career.


Graeme Bibby

Chief Investment Officer

Specialises in deal sourcing and business analysis

Graeme Bibby has over 25 years investment management experience managing and advising on direct asset and fund of fund portfolios across multiple sectors including superannuation, funds management, asset consulting, insurance and wealth management.

His two most recent roles were as Chief Investment Officer at Mutual Trust, a multi-family office and wealth manager, and Chief Investment Officer at AIA Australia Insurance. He is currently consulting under Bibby Investment Research within funds management and wealth management.

Graeme is extensively qualified in finance and investments including an MBA, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) and has a Finsia Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and investments.


Anastassia Juventin

Head of Alternatives

Specialises in alternative investments

Anastassia Juventin joined Partners Wealth Group in 2023 as Head of Alternatives.

She has a background in diversified portfolio construction, manager research and private markets, and prior to joining us held senior roles at BT Funds Management in Auckland, AMP Capital in Sydney and most recently as Chief Investment Officer at a wealth management firm in Sydney. 

Anastassia is active in supporting the development of current and aspiring investment professionals, having been an Education Committee member of The Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) and a mentor for the UNSW Finance and Banking Society and University of Auckland Business School Women’s Mentoring Program.


Matthew Leong

Portfolio Manager

Specialises in liquid markets and financial analysis

Matthew has been with Partners Wealth Group since 2014 and is part of the Investment Committee for both Partners Private and Partners Wealth Group. His role involves the management of public market portfolios including investment research and analysis, portfolio management, compliance and risk management.

Matthew utilises his knowledge of the public markets to contrast potential investments for Partners Private to aid in identifying opportunities that are differentiated from those available in the public markets.

Prior to joining Partners Wealth Group, Matthew worked within Corporate Strategy for Bank of Singapore, one of the largest private banks in Asia. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Masters in Finance.
